CRATER LAKE NATIONAL PARK

 

Crater Lake National Park is home to the deepest lake in the United States and over 170,000 acres of old growth forest. Surrounded by cliffs, the lake is fed entirely by rain and snow. Scientists consider Crater Lake to be the cleanest and clearest large body of water in the world.  When visiting the area, we highly recommend making a day trip to see all the wonders Crater Lake National Park has to offer.

The park entrance is approximately 37 miles north of us on Hwy 62. Allow 1 hour to drive to Crater Lake.


COLLIER MEMORIAL STATE PARK AND LOGGING MUSEUM

Collier Memorial State Park features a campground; outdoor museum of historic logging equipment; relocated pioneer village; and a new four-corral, primitive horse camp and trailhead. At the state's finest logging museum, you'll see rare and antique logging equipment dating to the 1880s, as well as more recent pieces.

The museum is 8 miles north of us, on Hwy 97.

ROE is great family owned business that has been guiding families on the rivers, lakes and through the forests and fields of the region since 1984.  They offer guided fishing, hunting and kayaking and come with the utmost knowledge of the Southern Oregon area.


Crater Lake ZipLine

Crater Lake Zipline is set amidst an incredible forest of ponderosa pine, douglas fir, white pine and sugar pine.  The canopy tour gives a unique look at the highest layer of the forest. Crater Lake Zipline is the only tree platform to tree platform zipline on US Forest Service Land with no manmade towers to stifle the experience.

The Zipline is approximately 45 minutes from our campground.


TRAIN MOUNTAIN

Train Mountain Railroad Museum is the world’s longest miniature railroad, which offers self-guided walking tour and train rides. It is located just 4 miles north of our RV Park.
